1. The service

Brute is a content app that delivers curated quotes, reminders, home-screen widgets, and customization features (themes and icons). Some features are available for free; full access requires a paid subscription as described below.

2. Subscriptions

Brute offers auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the subscription you selected.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings; cancelling does not affect the current active period, which will remain active until it ends.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Current subscription options, pricing, and any trial periods are shown in the App and on the App Store product page at the time of purchase.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies, not by us directly.

3. Your content

If you add custom quotes or other content within the App, you retain ownership of what you write. By adding content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it back to you within the App, solely so the feature can work. We do not claim ownership of your custom content and do not share it publicly or with other users.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code or content library
Use automated means to scrape or bulk-extract content from the App
Submit custom content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringes on someone else's rights

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its name, icon, design, curated quote library, and branding, is owned by [YOUR NAME / BUSINESS NAME] and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You're granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the App for your own use — nothing here transfers ownership of the App itself to you.

6. Disclaimer

Brute's content is provided for motivational and informational purposes only and is not professional advice of any kind (medical, psychological, financial, or otherwise). The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the App and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
